Book flexibly, discover Cuba!

Due to the situation surrounding the coronavirus, both we and our local suppliers are extra flexible. Therefore, you can now book your trip under flexible conditions!.

Flexible terms and conditions

You can rebook or cancel your trip free of charge up to 30 days before departure. This applies to all bookings made from September 10, 2020 to December 31, 2021 with departure up to and including December 31, 2021. You can also add a free workshop to your itinerary. This way you get the most out of your trip and the local guides receive extra support - which they desperately need. You can choose from a photography, cocktail or percussion workshop in Trinidad.

Don't want to make a round trip yet and prefer to stay at one destination? We also offer tours where we arrange the stay in a comfortable all-inclusive hotel in Varadero and the airport transfers for you. We will choose a hotel that suits you best and that meets the health and safety regulations set by the Cuban authorities. This way you can still travel to Cuba in a safe way.

If you have any further questions about this, please contact us via travel@micubatravel.com or by telephone on +31 (0) 20-7700486.

Rebook or cancel

If you are travelling to Cuba soon and you are not sure whether you want to travel, we explain the different options below. Because you have booked your flights yourself, it is wise to also find out which options your airline offers.

If you are travelling to Cuba in six weeks and the travel advice for Cuba from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is still code red or orange, we will contact you. At this moment you would fulfil the remaining payment of your booking. If you do not receive compensation from your insurance, you can rebook your trip to a new travel date free of charge and pay the remaining amount six weeks before the new (preliminary) departure date. You can also wait until one month before departure.

If you are travelling to Cuba within a month and the travel advice for Cuba from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is still code red or orange, and you do not receive compensation from your insurance, you can rebook your trip to a new travel date free of charge. Another option is to cancel your trip and you will receive a full refund.

If you are travelling in more than six weeks, we recommend that you wait a while. We will contact you six weeks before departure and we will discuss the options with you. Do you want to cancel your trip at an earlier stage? Then our regular cancellation conditions apply.

Do you want to postpone your trip?

Please let us know in writing (to travel@micubatravel.com) no later than two weeks before departure. You can inform us of your new travel dates later. The new trip must take place within a year. If you are postponing your trip to the high season, keep in mind that there may be additional costs.

MiCuba is a member of the GGTO  Guarantee Fund, so if you want to travel later, your rebooked trip is also covered by the GGTO.
