Who is Yunior

I always wanted to learn to speak a different language and I always liked to talk a lot. This is because of my mother, who encouraged me to read a lot from an early age. And if you have so many beautiful stories to tell, well then you tell them! One day a good friend asked me if I spoke English, and I said yes, even though I hadn't mastered it very well yet. He tested me, I did my first excursion as a guide, and from that day on I knew I had found my calling. My dream job, something I like so much that I don't even consider it a job, but a hobby!

The faces behind the local experiences

In Cuba there is something to do for everyone. Go diving, swim with fish, hike to a waterfall, cycle through the province, or learn to cook Cuban food. It's all possible, and there are local guides everywhere who want to make your experience even more special. Guides that take you by bike through the non-touristy parts of the city, guides who give cultural workshops in music, dance or art.

Unfortunately, due to the corona crisis, these guides currently don’t have work. We are busy developing new excursions for when we can travel again, but we also want to support these guides now - precisely because they are so important to the local experiences. That is why we started a crowdfunding
