Cancellation policy
Cancellations
All cancellations must be made in writing. The following charges apply based on the time before departure:
Up to 56 days before departure – 15% of the travel costs
From 56 to 43 days – 30%
From 42 to 29 days – 50%
From 28 to 15 days – 75%
From 14 to 8 days – 90%
Within 7 days before departure – 100%
Partial Cancellations
If one or more travelers cancel their trip, the cancellation fees outlined above will be calculated based on the price difference between the original booking and the adjusted cost for the remaining travelers. Please note that our prices per person are based on group size. In the event of a partial cancellation, a higher per-person rate may apply. The new total cost will be calculated based on this adjusted rate, plus the percentage cancellation fee on the price difference.
Cancellation Due to Negative Travel Advisory
If an official negative travel advisory is issued for the destination and the scheduled departure date falls within 28 days, customers are entitled to:
a. A full refund of the travel costs.
b. The option to reschedule the trip without cancellation fees.
The negative travel advisory must be issued by a recognized official body, and this policy applies only to travel directly affected by such an advisory.
Cancellations Due to Force Majeure
If a trip is canceled due to force majeure—extraordinary and unpredictable circumstances that could not be avoided despite all reasonable precautions—the traveler is not entitled to a refund. MiCuba Travel is not liable for failure to fulfill any obligation due to force majeure.
